FLOWER NATURE:

Sangu Poo scientifically known as Clitoria Ternatea, commonly called as Butterfly Pea Flower or Aparajita is a fast growing, low maintenance herbaceous perennial climber. It is vigorous climbing vein or creeper. It requires a support system like a trellis, fence or stakes to climb effectively. It thrives in full direct sunlight needing 4 tto 8 hours of light daily to maximize its blooms. It needs regular watering but cannot tolerate water logging. It is naturally found in deep blue, purple, pink and white colours available in both single petal or multilayered.

SEASONS:

It is a tropical and sub tropical plant that thrives best in warm temperature ranging between 25 to 30 degree centigrade. It is highly sensitive to cold weather and frost. It can bloom continuously throughout the year with peak heavy blooming the warn summer and rainy monsoon season.

PLANT TYPE:

The plant is highly adaptable and can grow in wide range of soil profiles, including poor or nutrition deficient soil. However it thrives best in rich, sandy loam, loamy, or red soils. It fixes its own nitrogen meaning that it requires very less fertilizer.
